Touching a Poingo Reader (it looks like an oversized pen) to the words and pictures on the storybook pages activates audio that narrates the story, enables songs and other sound effects, and triggers additional activities, including Look and Find.
The Poingo Storybook: Mickey Mouse's Treasure Hunt Adventure tells the story of Mickey Mouse finding a treasure map outside the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Mickey asks his friends to help him find the treasure. The group follows the clues until they reach the "treasure": a special picnic spot that Minnie Mouse has arranged. Mickey's Treasure Hunt Adventures- A ReviewJan 08, 2011

I bought this book to take to Great Wolf Lodge so my (almost) 5 year old son would have something to do on the road trip. I had never bought any additional books for the Poingo pen and didn't know that you had to load the books onto the pen before using. I just didn't ever think of it. So if this is your first "extra book" purchase, just beware that you need to follow the directions on the inside of the book to load it onto the pen. This caused some initial disappointment because we gave it to him for his birthday, he unwrapped it, and then he couldn't use it. Big Bummer. However, when we got home, I loaded it up and he loves it. We love all of the games that they have that you can find and also all of the sound effects in addition to reading the actual book.

My daughter loves the Poingo reader. It's a lot less expensive than other readers, and it has all Disney books. These are a great addition to your Poingo librabry.

If you child likes the Mickey Mouse club- he or she will love this book, too. The illustrations are just like the cartoon on T.V. Poingo is fun- sounds come to the story!
