We now have two Poingo pens and 8 or 9 books and my kids LOVE them. It is easy enough for my 2 year old to play, entertaining for my 4 year old, yet challenging enough to allow my 6 year old to read along and use this for words he gets stuck on. We love Disney stuff, so the fact that they are licensed for the Disney (And Thomas) stories is huge.
This set has Mickey Mouse and Toy Story, and along with the story, it has games that coordinate with what is happening. You get 2 stories and the pen for WAY less than the price of the Tag or Bugsby systems, that we also have, and most books in this series can be found for $5 or less.
The only real negative I have is that the books are HUGE. They are great for spreading out and reading on the floor, but not so much for in the car, for example.

We purchased a Poingo for my son (age 3) in late November for a St. Nicholas Day (Dec 6) gift. He loved it and played with it every day until it broke in early January. We were still within our 90 day limited warrenty, so we called the customer service center. They told us to mail the device in and we'd get a new one in 4-6 weeks. It is now June 2 (Yes, 5+ months later) and we still don't have the Poingo! My son really enjoyed it, but as far as longevity and customer service you'd be better off buying a different product!
